Let's tango |
Egypt will meet Argentina in an exhibition in Cairo Stadium. |
| Sport news |
 |
|
Argentina, the No 1 football country in the world, will play Egypt in Cairo on 26 March, the first game for Egypt since it won the Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana last month.
Wednesday's match is preparation for South American and African World Cup qualifiers later this year. Egypt is playing in Group 12 with DR Congo, Malawi and Djibouti.
The Egyptian Football Federation had contacted Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Brazil and Italy for international friendlies but there has been no reply.
But Argentina is a fine game in itself. "Argentina is the top ranked team in the world whereas Egypt is 30th," said Mahmoud Alaa, a sports critic. "Although Argentina come without many of their stars, the players who are coming all play in major European clubs. They have the skills and experience.
"Argentina is also famous for displaying its unique and amazing team play in all team sports. In 2004 in the Olympics in Athens, Argentina took gold medals in football and basketball, the two most famous team sports."
"Argentina were World Cup champions in 1978 and 1986, so let's enjoy some Latin football with European strength for change," Alaa added.
Egypt's friendlies with Latin American teams are not many despite the passion the game holds on both sides of the ocean: four times against Brazil in the sixties, Colombia in 1990, Chile, and Uruguay in 2006.

Amr Diab outraged |
| Article |
 |
|
Famous Egyptian super star Amr Diab was outraged when he discovered that all what he previously filmed for a documentary about himself with director Muhammad Atef was ruined. The documentary was narration of the famous singer’s life. The crew notified Diab that the tape got ruined, because of some problems in the camera that they were filming with.
According to Al Khalij daily, Diab had been monitoring the filming of his new film on a daily basis and decided to find out the real reason behind ruining his tape, stating that he doesn’t believe that there are problems with the camera. Diab knows for sure that the camera was working the day before and the day after. The director denied knowing any reasons to why this incident happened. On the other hand Diab threatened to not finish the filming if he didn’t find out the real reason.
The manager of filming Muhsin Ahmad stressed that this is the first time for such a thing to happen, and he’s well-known for his ability as a manager in cinema filming. Muhsin adds that he only went ahead with managing this specific filming job was for his good relations with the famous super star.

Green tea |
All tea plants belong to the same species-Camellia sinensis-, but local growing conditions (altitude, climate, soils, etc.) vary, resulting in a multitude of distinctive leaves. The way the leaves are processed, however, is even more important in developing the individual characteristics of the three predominant types of tea: green, black and oolong.
Green tea is the least processed and thus provides the most antioxidant polyphenols, notably a catechin called epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), which is believed to be responsible for most of the health benefits linked to green tea. Green tea is made by briefly steaming the just harvested leaves, rendering them soft and pliable and preventing them from fermenting or changing color. After steaming, the leaves are rolled, then spread out and "fired" (dried with hot air or pan-fried in a wok) until they are crisp. The resulting greenish-yellow tea has a green, slightly astringent flavor close to the taste of the fresh leaf.
Health Benefits
Green tea drinkers appear to have lower risk for a wide range of diseases, from simple bacterial or viral infections to chronic degenerative conditions including cardiovascular disease, cancer, stroke, periodontal disease, and osteoporosis. The latest studies provide a deeper understanding of the ways in which green tea:
Protects against Death from All Causes, Especially Cardiovascular Disease.
