Egypt 3-0 Sudan |
Aboutreika brace for holders |
| Sport News |
 |
|
Mohamed Aboutreika hit a brace as Egypt took a giant step towards quarter-final qualification at the African Nations Cup with a 3-0 victory over Sudan.
Aboutreika scored twice in the last 12 minutes adding to a Hosni Abd-Rabou penalty in the first half as the Pharaohs moved to six points in Group C, three ahead of Cameroon and Zambia in second place.
However, the defending champions were made to work hard for the win by the unfancied Sudanese, who started out strongly.
In the fourth minute Haitham Mustafa laid the ball on for Haytham Tambal on the left side of the penalty area, but goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary did well to hold on to a firm shot.
Six minutes later Mohamed Zidan created the first opportunity for Egypt when he managed to pull away from his marker down the middle, before Omer Bakhit did enough to put the striker out of his stride.

Tamer Hosni’s Big Heart |
| News |
 |
|
It is unfortunately common for artists to be blinded by the limelight and forget what is happening around them and hence do very little about it. However, one man who hasn’t forgotten what his country did for him and that there are needy people everywhere is Tamer Hosni. In an attempt to make a change Tamer has decided to go on a tour with the title ‘Bahebek Ya Balady’ which will cover several cities in Egypt, what is special about this tour is that Tamer will make no financial gain from it. Tickets to his concerts will be priced at approximately 5 E.P and all the revenue will be donated to Egyptian charities.
In a statement made to the press Tamer says he has been considering this for a while and that he doesn’t care if this affects his career badly as long as he can help the needy children out there. Tamer will be visiting approximately 27 areas in Egypt and will be setting up an email and phone number for any companies wishing to make donations to his cause. I personally think this initiative is outstanding! If every artist decided to use their fame not to get into clubs but to help the needy then the world would be a different place.

Riding by camel would be the norm for transportation when travelling alongside the River Nile in Egypt, one would presume, writes Simon Wesson.
However, a man from Panshanger decided to join 50 others and cycle along the 'longest river in the world' to help raise £2,700 for the Meningitis Trust.
Martin Reeve, 55, told the WHT that the 400km trek, from Esna to the Valley of the Kings, in desert terrain and 30 degree heat, was not a challenge just any 'Giza' could take on.
"I trained for seven months before the event and in this time I lost three stone, so I was prepared physically.
"It was really challenging though. It was so hot, a lot hotter than I expected it to be.
"It was a fantastic experience, but covering about 250 miles in five days is some going."
His bike, designed for all terrains, was the 'best he had ever ridden'.
"I trained on a bike that wasn't very good, so I was amazed how good this one was," he said. "At times the roads were awful and we were virtually cycling on sand, but it was so easy to use.
"Everyone was provided with a bike. I cannot believe how well organised the event was."

Abydos - Temple of Sethos
The chief feature of interest is the Temple of Sethos I, Strabo's Memnonium. This magnificent structure, completed by Sethos's son and successor Ramesses II, was almost completely excavated in 1859 by the French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette (1821-81) the expense of the then Viceroy, Said.
The temple complex is laid out on three levels. The walls are built of fine grained limestone, the columns, architraves and door posts of a harder limestone. The layout differs in many respects from that of other Egyptian temples. There are not one but no fewer than seven chapels, dedicated to Osiris, Isis, Horus, Ptah, Re-Harakhty, Amun and the deified Sethos. The front partof thetemple is thus divided into seven individual temples, each with its own doorway, and the chambers behind the chapels are not arranged behind one another, as in other temples, but side by side. Another unusual feature is the wing, containing various subsidiary chambers, which branches off the main structure at right angles structure at right angles.

Yogurt |
Not only is yogurt a wonderful quick, easy and nutritious snack that is available year-round, but researchers are finding evidence that milk and yogurt may actually add years to your life as is found in some countries where yogurt and other fermented dairy products (like kefir) are a dietary staple.
Yogurt is a fermented dairy product made by adding bacterial cultures to milk, which causes the transformation of the milk's sugar, lactose, into lactic acid. This process gives yogurt its refreshingly tart flavor and unique pudding-like texture, a quality that is reflected in its original Turkish name, Yoghurmak, which means "to thicken."
Health Benefits
Our food ranking system qualified yogurt as a very good source of calcium, phosphorous, riboflavin-vitamin B2 and iodine. Yogurt also emerged from our analysis as a good source of vitamin B12, pantothenic acid-vitamin B5, zinc, potassium, protein and molybdenum. These 10 nutrients alone would make yogurt a health-supportive food. But some of the most interesting health information about yogurt comes from a different context-its potential inclusion of live bacteria.
