Sharm British School Parent Teacher Association is committed to promote and support the school and to bring together friends and families of the school.

On 6th of April, Sharm British School received the Reg. no. 7036470 from UK Department of Education and Skills, (DfES), thus placing it firmly within the British educational system.

The U.K. School year starts on 1st September and ends on 31st August the following year.

Pupils are put in the above classes even if their birthday is as close as 31st August or 2nd of September.

Reception is the first year of formal schooling in UK as children must attend school once they reach the age of five.

In practice, they start at the beginning of the year in which they will be five.
