Are you a creative technical diver?
I am looking for a highly competent technical diver who is able to define the diving requirements for a series of new 40m safari boats. Having a wealth of experience of Safari diving operations you would be responsible for defining the diving requirements both from a technical and user perspective. For example:
1) Able to explain the behavioural characteristics of dive safari passengers so they can be interpreted by the design team into workable solutions.
2) What size of ribs, storage/lifting options
3) Storage solution for all divers equipment
4) Tanks – steel verses aluminium , how many (for immediate use, being refilled etc.), how many over what time period can tanks be refilled based on number of pax/dives per day, can this be achieved with x compressors or air banks etc...
5) Dive ladders,
6) Kit boxes – size, and how many.
7) Nitrox – critical, nice to have or not worth it?
8) What is average requirements/requests for BCD sizes, feet size, mask shapes and sizes etc...
9) Recommend and source all divers equipment
10) Etc.
Basically someone who is able to identify the ideal requirements and brainstorm solutions that are both aesthetically pleasing for a very high end luxury safari boat but also functional.
This is a short piece of contract work with immediate availability which will involve at least one trip to Alexandria to work with existing design, construction and engineering team.

John.
